Landscaping FAQs · Auckland wide

A clearer starting point.

Useful answers about planning, building, planting and caring for your outdoor space—whether it’s a home, a commercial property or a landscape people share.

01

Getting started

Find a useful place to begin.

Where does Neda Landscaper work?

We work Auckland wide. Tell us the property’s suburb or locality so we can discuss the location, travel and whether the proposed work is a suitable fit.

Do you work on commercial and shared properties as well as homes?

Yes. We work with homeowners, commercial clients and body corporates. Tell us how the outdoor space is used, what needs attention and any shared-access or approval requirements.

Which landscaping service should I choose?

Start with the change you want to make. That might be landscape design, construction, planting and garden renovation, outdoor living, garden care, lawn renovation or commercial landscape care. Explore the services, or choose “Not sure / multiple services” on the enquiry form.

Do I need a complete plan before getting in touch?

No. Photos, any plans you already have and a short description of what you want to change give us a useful starting point. The level of planning depends on the property and the work proposed.

02

Design & construction

Connect the decisions that matter.

Who leads landscape and planting design?

Chris leads landscape and planting design through Neda Landscaper. The design scope is agreed around the property, your priorities and the changes you have in mind. Read about landscape design.

Does every project need a full landscape design?

No. A focused planting plan may be enough for one property. A larger change may need layout, levels, materials and planting considered together. We’ll discuss the useful level of design for the proposed work.

What happens if consent-related or specialist input is needed?

The relevant consent, engineering or other specialist responsibilities are clarified for the site and proposed work. Stable Group may provide consent-related professional or planning input where required. It is a separate business under the same ownership; that input is not assumed to be part of every landscape project.

Can construction, planting and care be planned together or carried out in stages?

Yes, those stages can connect where they suit the project. Some work may be staged, provided the sequence supports the overall landscape and later work. The scope and responsibilities are agreed for the property. See how we work.

03

Planting & care

For new gardens and existing landscapes.

Can you help with an established or overgrown garden?

Yes. We can consider a focused care reset, planting renovation or a combination of both. The first step is to understand what is worth keeping and what needs to change. Explore planting and garden renovations.

Do you offer ongoing garden and landscape care?

Yes. The work and visit frequency are agreed for the property. Care can support a newly planted landscape as it settles in, or an existing garden that needs regular attention. Read about garden and landscape care.

Can lawn renovation be included with other garden work?

Yes, lawn health and renovation can be considered alongside wider garden care or improvements where appropriate. The right approach depends on the lawn’s condition and the site. Explore lawns and lawn renovation.

What can commercial or body corporate landscape care include?

The scope can bring together recurring care and agreed planting, lawn or wider landscape improvements. We’ll discuss the site’s condition, presentation priorities, access and the care arrangement the property needs. Read about commercial and body corporate care.

Costs & enquiries

Share what you know so far.

How much will the landscaping work cost?

Cost depends on the agreed scope, site conditions, access, materials and the work involved. Share a budget indication if you have one so it can be considered alongside your priorities. We’ll need to understand the property and the work before pricing can be confirmed.

When can you start, and how long will the work take?

Tell us your preferred timing when you enquire. Start dates and duration need to be discussed once the scope, site access and any related work or specialist input are understood. Let us know if you have a particular deadline or flexibility around the timing.

What should I include in an enquiry, and can I send photos?

The Contact form asks for your name, email, service needed, Auckland suburb or locality and a short message. Phone, property type, timing, budget and photos are optional. You can attach up to three JPG, PNG or WebP photos, up to 3 MB each and 24 megapixels. Please avoid people or personal documents in the photos.

Can I enquire about several services at once?

Yes. Choose “Not sure / multiple services” on the Contact form and describe what you have in mind. You don’t need to split a connected landscape project into separate enquiries.
